MARITIME BORDER DISPUTE BETWEEN KENYA AND SOMALIA IN THE INDIAN OCEAN

Among the recent cases adjudicated before International Court of Justice (ICJ), maritime dispute between Kenya and Somalia exhibited in Indian Ocean is among forefront one. Though there are several studies dealing with case at hand, decision aforenamed court has not been comprehensively reviewed. Therefore, having ICJ’s decision, which was rendered on 12 October 2021, this Article exhaustively reviews – only Somalia’s claim Kenya’s submission, but also ruling major disputed issues. Moreover, provides some scholars critiques attributed to latter decision.
